Along the Nature Trail

Cedar Creek is a planned, active lifestyle community consisting of custom-built homes quietly nestled
on 1/2+ acre in the rolling hills of Aiken, SC. We welcome residents of all ages but the majority of our
residents are active retirees.

Aiken is located close to the southwestern border of the state. It is about 30 minutes from Augusta,
Georgia, the home of the Master's Golf Tournament. North Augusta is also nearby. Cedar Creek is in
a quiet wooded setting away from the hustle and bustle of big cities. However, we are centrally located
among the cities of Columbia, Charleston, and Greenville, as well as the Georgia cities of Savannah and
Atlanta; ideal for short getaways to metropolitan areas. Beaches and mountains are readily accessible for
longer adventures.

Our community, located about 5 miles south of the Aiken City limits, is away from the busy downtown
Aiken area and yet is just a few minutes away from a wide variety of restaurants, shopping and
entertainment.

Approximately eight miles of nature trails meander amongst footbridges, ponds, small parks, picnic
and natural areas; a truly unique trail with both asphalt and natural mulch walking surfaces. Walkers can
easily move through each phase of the development via this connecting trail system. It is enhanced with
native blooming shrubs and trees, with the chance to stop and admire each uniquely designed common
area. Whether you enjoy watching birds and butterflies, a quiet walk in the forest, are on your way for a
round of tennis, or simply want a place to relax and enjoy the scenery, the nature trails can take you there.
We have many trail volunteers who maintain the trails with work sessions throughout the year.

The Community Center hosts over 36 clubs and organizations and contains a community library
which is accessible to residents 24 hours a day.

The Junior Olympic size pool and pavilion complete with swimming lanes is open from April through
October. Take part in a water aerobics class, or bring the grandkids for a splash or two. Residents can
enjoy hosting pool parties at the covered and lighted pavilion by submitting a Pavilion Reservation
eForm requesting a specific date. The lighted tennis and pickle ball courts are located in this area.

Cedar Creek residents enjoy access to an 18 hole golf course that winds its way throughout the
community. The Grille at Cedar Creek offers lunch 6 days a week and casual dining on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday evenings.

Cedar Creek is a 20 minute drive from the "A" rated Aiken Regional Medical Center, a 245 bed hospital
with a 24 hour emergency room. Aiken is also home to a multi-specialty outpatient surgical facility with
four operating rooms and two procedure rooms. Many physician specialists and general practitioners have
local offices. Nearby Augusta and Columbia have top rated hospitals and medical professionals as well.

For travel by air, Bush Field, the Augusta Airport is about 30 minutes to the west. It has direct flights to
some cities, as well as connections to other cities via Atlanta's Hartsfield Airport. Columbia Metropolitan
Airport is approximately 1 hour to the north for convenient airline connections, often through Charlotte,
NC.
